KBC Lottery: Real or Fake? MUST READ before playing!
KBC Lottery: Genuine or Scam?
I am sure you have seen or at least heard of Kaun Banega Crorepati but have you heard about the KBC lottery and their winners?
There are several websites all claiming that they represent the lotto game and that it is genuine but just as many claiming that the lottery doesn’t exist and is a scam.
As you might know, I have an articles series called Genuine Lottery or Scam where I analyze a suspicious lotto and determine if it is real or fake.
The contradicting information revolving around the lotto made me decide to make a KBC lottery review to finally determine if it is genuine!
As usual, I will look into the four factors that help me decide if a lotto game is real or not
WARNING: When writing this article I found out that KBC Lottery is one of the BIGGEST lotto scams in India! AVOID KBC LOTTERY AT ALL COSTS!
Find out why it is a scam in the article below.
IS KBC LOTTERY TRUSTED?
There are several things that affect a lotteries trust but the main ones are:
- Offline presence
- Security Certificates
- User Reviews
The lotto does not have a gambling license which means no government authority has checked if they conduct their games fairly.
As far as offline presence goes there is none. No cooperations and more importantly no mentions from the Kaun Banega Crorepati that they have a lotto game.
Since there are so many sites that claim to represent the KBC lottery I can’t speak out about their security certificates, some sites have, others don’t.
Lastly, I look at user reviews and I can’t find any. Not one single honest review from a KBC lottery winner!
So can the Kaun Banega Crorepati lottery be trusted?
No, definitely not!
There are so many red flags!
They have no license, Kaun Banega Crorepati does not acknowledge the lotto game and there are no outspoken KBC lottery winners!

ONLINE LOTTERY INFORMATION
Since there are so many sites claiming to represent the lotto it is hard to know which information to analyze.
First of all, there shouldn’t be so many different websites representing one lotto game which makes me very concerned.
In my investigations on other scam lotteries, a common factor is that fake lotteries have several sites since they can easily be shut down because they are tricking people.
Something I did find on several pages though was the so-called KBC lottery head office.
When I took an extra look at the address I found out that the unit they claimed to be located in was actually the office of another company – Union Asset Management Company.
This is another red flag.
I can almost certainly already say that the game is fake but let’s take a look at the two last factors to be 100% sure!
KBC LOTTERY LOCATION
So as far as their location I have determined that their office address is fake but what about their servers?
Well, as previously mentioned there are quite a few sites claiming to represent the lotto.
Since there is no use checking where all the different servers are located to see if it is an illegal lottery or not I decided to check if there were any news about it.
What I found was baffling!
KBC LOTTERY TELEPHONE SCAM
The Kaun Banega Crorepati lottery is most definitely fake.
The Times Of India said the KBC lottery is a scam already in 2018!
They warned that Pakistani numbers call Indians saying that they won a 25 lakh cash prize.
A reporter at the Times found out that the way the fraud worked. To be able to claim your “prize” you have to pay an Rs. 8000 processing fee to receive your prize.
Sadly, the prize does not exist but the processing fee many Indians have sent is real.
Since the Kaun Banega Crorepati lotto was discovered as a fraud it changed its approach.
They continue to call people claiming they have won a cash prize.
Some Indians already know that it is a scam or do their research and find out it is a fraud.
What the Indian scam lotto has done now is quite smart.
If the person does not fall for the first fraud they get tricked by the new con.
On all the KBC lotto websites they claim to know about the scams (even though they are behind them) and that you should call them in case this happens to you.
Now, this is where they try to scam you again.
When you call them they will give you some story about how they want to reward you for reporting the fake calls but you need to pay a small processing fee to get your reward and so the scam continues.
It is literally a scam within a scam, crazy!
